New EA Battlefield game apparently set in WW1

Battlefield 1 looks like it's headed back to World War I.

Yes, the Great War is the backdrop for Electronic Arts' new military video game, whose retail promotional poster apparently leaked through Reddit earlier Friday. The image suggests the game will be available October 18.

The poster features a fierce, caped character who appears to be inspired by the Harlem Hellfighter Infantry Regiment, one of the black combat regiments to serve in WWI. He's aiming what appears to be a Mauser C-96.

The photo of the poster comes just hours before a Battlefield live stream.

Electronics Arts didn't respond to a request for comment.
